DRUG MULING & MONEY LAUNDERING SCAMS
Young people are being groomed online to move criminal money and take "free international vacations" that are leading to them being arrested, kidnapped or worse.
WORKPLACE PHISHING SCAMS
Employees should be able to identify the basic signs of phishing emails such as strange or unexpected requests, often using alarming language or urging immediate action. These messages often appear to come from colleagues within the company or a trusted source
ROMANCE SCAMS
The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre received 1,249 complaints of romance scams from 925 Canadian victims with a loss of more than $50 million in 2021
